The immune system attacks hepatocytes. Portal inflammation spills into the lobule as interface hepatitis and, untreated, scars the liver towards cirrhosis.
Installation
bunx shadcn@4.22.1 add @organui/autoimmune-hepatitisThis adds autoimmune-hepatitis.tsx, the disease's data and component, to your components directory. It is built on the disease viewer and reuses the models of the liver and liver lobule, which install with it.
Usage
import { AutoimmuneHepatitis } from "@/components/autoimmune-hepatitis"
export function AutoimmuneHepatitisDemo() {
return <AutoimmuneHepatitis />
}Every structure is a finding: affected structures are amber and spared ones muted. Select one, in 3D or in the panel, to read what the disease does there.
Course
Set stage or defaultStage to one of these. Each stage changes which structures are affected and the investigations to expect.
- Active
"active"Interface hepatitis with high transaminases and IgG. Most people respond to steroids and azathioprine.
Affects 1 structure of the liver and 3 structures of the lobule.
- Fibrosis
"fibrosis"Repeated injury lays down collagen that bridges portal tracts. Treatment can still reverse it.
Affects 1 structure of the liver and 4 structures of the lobule.
- Cirrhosis
"cirrhosis"Regenerative nodules replace the lobules and portal pressure rises. About a third of adults already have cirrhosis at diagnosis.
Affects 2 structures of the liver and 6 structures of the lobule.
Scales
Set scale or defaultScale to show the disease on another model. Each has its own structure IDs, so the viewer clears the selection when the scale changes.
"liver": the liver, 7 structures."liver-lobule": the liver lobule, 11 structures.
Without Panel
Hide the panel to place the model in your own layout, and choose the scale and stage with props.
Controlled
Drive the stage, scale and selection from your own state, such as a patient's timeline.
